At MidAmerica Extrusions, we are dedicated to total quality. Our quality system at MidAmerica Extrusions has been ISO 9002 CERTIFIED since February 23, 1998. Our extrusions are tested repeatedly to assure accuracy and consistency. Statistical Process Control (SPC tracking) is a key component to our ability to provide you, the customer, with the highest quality material available.

The high quality standards associated with all products of MidAmerica Extrusions starts with the close metallurgical control of our incoming raw materials. Our billet is not unloaded in our yard unless it is accompanied by a certified chemical analysis and is 100% inspected. It must not only meet the standards of the Aluminum Association, but must also meet our standards, which are even higher. Our suppliers are the best in offering superior raw material combined with quick delivery.

Our dies at MidAmerica Extrusions are computer designed and carefully engineered by a few select, highly trained die makers. We use a liquid nitrogen injection process in our dies during the extrusion process to produce a higher level of heat control. This process, along with over forty years of combined experience by our die correctors, assures a high quality finished product.

UPDATE:
On October 20, 2003, MidAmerica Extrusions Quality Management System was certified to ISO 9001-2000. This upgrade of our Quality Management System is a demonstration of MidAmerica Extrusions commitment to quality for both the company and its customers.
